Here is a rare piece of interesting washer history. Blackstone had three generations of automatic washer design. This manual covers their second generation washers after they changed to an electrical timing system and complete solid tub design.

Frigidaire first introduced their Multimatic washers in 1959 and here is the comprehensive service manual they produced on how the machine works and how to service it. Sections include images of all models, complete in-depth specifications, cycle charts and full troubleshooting and servicing information. Models include: WCIR-59, WCI-59, WI-59, WCD-59, WD-59, WS-59.

Includes complete in-depth specifications for all models, cycle charts, service instructions and complete Unimatic and Pulsamatic rebuilding instructions. 1958 was the last year Frigidiare produced their Unimatic and Pulsamatic washers for the home. The next model year in 1959 Frigidaire introduced their Multimatic washer. Frigidaire did continue to produced the Unimatic washer until 1964 but this was for coin-operated laundries only.

Here is the Crosley version of the Bendix rubber tub washer that instead of spinning it squeezes the water out of the clothes via vacuum pressure which collapses a rubber tub and forces the clothes against the perforated agitator.

These brochures were produced right after the laundry division of Bendix was purchased by Philco. They highlight the first automatic washing machines branded Philco-Bendix. Models include WGG-C and WGG-D.

Here is ABC's final automatic washer line before they were bought by Kelvinator and the ABC and ABC-O-Matic brand came to an end. These are wonderful brochures with pictures and images of each model including the A-92, A-82, A-72, A-62, A-52 and A-42.

Brochure produced by Bendix before WWII started to promote their new automatic washer models which by this time have expanded to four models available. Models include new the Standard and Deluxe "Laundrimatic" machines as well as the older "Dial-A-Matic" Standard and Deluxe models.

Here is the owners manual to a very rare automatic washer. From the mid-1940's through the early 1950's Thor produce their "Automagic" washer/dishwasher combination. They also produced they same machine without the dishwasher tub assembly but that included a completely automatic wash timer. This instruction book is for this first Thor completely automatic washer.

Here is a rare owners manual and operating instructions for the Easy's Top-of-the-Line washer in the early 60s. Models included: ADK and the suds-saver version ADK-S.

Philco introduced their wobbling rubber disk agitator in 1959 on their full size automatic washers. In 1961 the machine was redesigned with a slightly larger and now perforated wash tub but still using the 1959 agitator design. These amazing brochures highlight these first perforated tub machines. Models include the Miss America W-226, W-224, W-222A and W-222.
