In the late 40's Norge introduced their very first automatic washer. This front loading washer was the first large capacity automatic with 18lbs of claimed capacity. The washer was a bolt-down model and we believe it utilized many Bendix produced parts. In 1951 Norge discontinued this design and introduced their own top loader with Norge built parts.
