Appliance Manufacturer is a fun magazine to read for any collector or enthusiast of vintage appliances, electronics and other vintage home products. This highly entertaining magazine covered the design and manufacturing areas of Major Appliances, Small Appliances, Small Electrics, Radios, Televisions and other electric home products from the mid-20th century. Of particular interest: Speed Queen redesigns it's coin-op washers with 14 distinct changes. Norge changes automatic washers cabinets to zinc clad steel. Packaged laundry centers by Westinghouse and Hotpoint. Including a Westinghouse Laundromat and sink combo built right over the washer. Hotpoint drying cabinet. Hotpoint's high controls and automatic bulk bins that dispense detergent, bleach and softener automatically! I'm not sure if any of these came into full production.
